That’s Not How She Sees
It
You
see beauty;
She
sees an ugly reflection.
You
see confidence;
She
sees insecurities and the fear of not being accepted.
You
see a girl that gets all the guys;
She
sees years of meaningless relationships.
You
see designer clothes;
She
sees coupons, sales, and discount stores.
You
see a great body;
She
sees everything wrong with it.
You
see a crowd of people around her;
She
sees that same crowd and feels lonely.
You
see the perfect life and an image of her that you'd like to be;
She
sees you, and feels the same way.
There
is a moral to this poem:
No
matter how much someone has,
Remember
that nobody has everything, or the perfect life!
